About the Company:
Our client is a $45 billion dollar private equity fund with offices globally. They are seeking a Fund Accountant to join their team as they continue to fund raise and launch new funds.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of quarterly financial statements including cash flow preparation and
- working knowledge of recent accounting pronouncements and required disclosures
- Work on capital process, including evaluation of carried interest models
- Working with deal team, legal/tax counsel, and credit operations team to plan and execute deal closings
- Assisting team in coordination with legal and tax to set up deal structures
- Participation in the review of quarterly investment valuation and presentation to sub-committee
- During fundraising, the individual will also help create various analysis of data needed for the updating marketing materials, assisting with the preparation of due diligence questionnaire responses, as well as assist with evaluation of side-letter arrangement and fund closing processes
- Complete responses to investor correspondence, inquiries, and requests
- Other ad-hoc projects where needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2 – 3 years with audit experience in public accounting
- Private equity with partnership accounting knowledge strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Salary Range:
$70,000 – $85,000
