Administrative Assistant to Public Affairs /Communications Team

About the Company:

Our client is a private investment firm with offices in New York and London

  • Manage phone, calendar, appointments, travel and expenses for SVP, Communications / Public Affairs
  • Coordinate meetings and conference calls, manage phones, travel and expenses for Communications team
  • Responsible for daily press clips process; monitor media for the team and distribute internally
  • Create and distribute listings
  • Create and maintain media lists
  • Write and edit press materials to support company and initiatives, including but not limited to press releases, biographies, transcripts, talking points, and event itineraries
  • Assist with industry research and fact-checking
  • Distribute press releases; train other department members on systems, as needed
  • Assist with internal events and projects, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 1+ years in an administrative role with a focus on marketing/public relations/ communications
  • Analytical and creative mindset
  • Exceptional organizational skills; extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Positive, ‘can do’ attitude; no job is too big or too small
  • Proactiveness, orientation to solutions
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships and leverage cross-department resources
  • Ability to work and collaborate as part of a small, fast-paced team

Compensation & Benefits:
