About the Company:

Our client, a leading global independent investment bank with a focus on M&A and Restructuring is looking for a Corporate Development professional.


  • Perform detailed market analyses to identify expansion opportunities across sectors and regions
  • Evaluate potential strategic partnerships, alliances, joint-ventures and acquisition opportunities
  • Provide ongoing support to our current strategic alliances
  • Manage the firm’s financial forecast and perform analyses sensitizing operating assumptions
  • Help determine optimal capital allocation strategy including dividends and share repurchases
  • Prepare presentations for monthly meetings with our partners providing updates on the firm’s strategy, financial performance and key firm news
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking analyses on peer group to identify industry trends
  • Organize and prepare content for corporate events including the annual strategy offsite
  • Develop the agenda and content for frequent management committee meetings
  • Coordinate with senior management on various ad-hoc requests related to firm’s strategy


  • Bachelor’s degree (business major preferred from nationally accredited university)
  • 2+ years of investment banking experience preferred
  • Ability to work in high pressure environment and quickly adapt to changing business needs – Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights to help inform management decisions
  • Resourceful, motivated self-starter with a real eagerness to learn
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to form key takeaways
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, PPT, Word); Dealogic and Capital IQ are a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $80,000-$95,000 Base Salary
