Director of Talent Acquisition – Investment Management Firm

New York, New York • $115,000 – $125,000

Our client is an investment management firm with 50 Billion AUM. They are seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition that will report directly into the Head of HR. The company has 10 offices worldwide and this role sits in their NYC office.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and follow through with sourcing plans to recruit top talent, owning the candidate experience from start to finish including offer extension and closing
  • Utilize the ATS to deliver reports to hiring managers and executives
  • Manage campus recruitment including  Intern and Analyst Programs
  • Head new hire orientation sessions, career counseling discussions and exit interviews
  • Oversee diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
  • Work directly with hiring managers to understand talent needs and keep all parties up to date on  the process
  • Utilize social media, networking events, and other sourcing mediums to engage candidates
  • Manage relationships with staffing agencies and research new systems to enhance recruitment efforts
  • Assist Executives and other leaders on employee relations matters
  • Liaise with the HR Team members on various projects sharing ideas and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in HR with a focus on Talent Acquisition
  • Bachelor’s Degree and experience within Financial Services required
  • Ability to lead strategic hiring plans and other HR goals to add value to the business;
  • Track record of building strong and influential business partnerships;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Strong sense of urgency;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to handle matters with confidentiality and discretion;

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $115,000 – $125,000 Base Salary + Bonus
