About the Company:
Our client is an investment firm that focuses its investments and acquisitions on pharmaceutical fintech companies.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the development of drug-level forecasting for all products in the firm’s portfolio through preparation and review of Wall Street analyst consensus
- Track and analyze product-level sales data reported by product marketers and received from payors
- Coordinate FP&A-related analyses through the preparation of variance analyses, forecasting vs. actuals, and company-wide budgeting
- Assist with the tie-outs and reconciliations of sales forecasts for GAAP financial reporting, fair value modeling, effective interest methodology, and other key reporting deliverables
- Work closely with the Treasurer, Accounting VPs, and Senior Finance Associate on modeling updates
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and other supporting financial statement schedules related to the quarterly close
- Prepare tie-outs of supporting schedules as evidence of SOX control activities
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in big 4 public accounting experience (advisory, valuations, audit) or a combination of Big 4 plus industry or investment banking
- Expertise in Excel is a must
- Bachelor’s degree with an Accounting or Finance concentration
- Experience in life sciences and financial services sectors is a plus
- Experience with NetSuite, Workiva, FloQast is preferred but not necessary
- SOX knowledge a plus
