The marketing associate will assist in managing the creative team and managing the brand of the firm to maintain a level of excellence that is expected from our clients.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update attorney biographies pages
  • Prepare pitch presentation packages
  • Add content to the website
  • Producing a digital print and digital newsletter
  • Submit firm and attorneys for legal awards
  • Update and maintaining social media pages
  • Preparation of material for speaking engagements
  • Assist in the scheduling, filming/recording, editing, and posting of videos
  • Source and order branded merchandise
  • Circulate articles written by attorneys or publication review
  • Implement the marketing strategy through print and digital materials (e.g. quarterly newsletter, recruitment flyers, website assets), and marketing collateral
  • Promote the thought leadership of the firm’s attorneys, utilizing the firm’s various marketing channels and creating new content (e.g. presentations, case studies, videos)
  • Responding to RFPs and preparing packages for potential clients
  • Think creatively to propose and develop new design concepts for the firm’s print and digital marketing materials – graphics, layouts, flyers, ads, website assets, social media images, etc.
  • Work with the firm’s web developer and other miscellaneous vendors
  • Assist with the marketing and promotion of the firm’s other entities, including a firm-run charity, firm produced books, and a blog site
  • Support the day-to-day tasks of the marketing team, such as content creation in line with the firm’s voice and brand, helping to ensure the firm’s website and social media channels are regularly updated with both visually engaging and informative content, and providing general support to the firm’s promotional activity

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain deadlines, multitask, and prioritize
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail, including experience working directly with C-level executives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Adobe creative suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro) a MUST
  • Proficient with photography and videography
  • Experience with photo and video editing software
  • Experience with marketing communications and/or media relations a PLUS
  • Experience with managing social media accounts
  • Experience with social media management software (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout)
  • Proficiency in WordPress (or other similar CMS) with knowledge of CSS/HTML a PLUS
  • Basic Graphic Design experience using Adobe InDesign
  • Familiarity with website design and development and/or experience with website re-design a MUST
