SEC Reporting Analyst

About the Company:

Our client specializes in financial and real estate services, is looking to hire an SEC Reporting Analyst.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of the firm’s financial statements for 10-Q and 10-K SEC Reporting
  • Prepare certain financial measures and information necessary
  • produce and/or review presentations and documents for various financing transactions or other departmental requests
  • Review and substantiate financial data in the firm’s quarterly earnings releases and presentations
  • Reconcile and substantiate certain balance sheet accounts monthly
  • Work with external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit
  • Production of ad-hoc analysis for Senior Management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
  • 2-3 years of related experience in public accounting or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to SEC reporting
  • Advanced analytical and Excel capabilities with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as within a team environment
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
