About the Company:
Our client, one of the world’s largest publicly traded entertainment companies, is seeking to hire a Senior Director of Financial Reporting, who will be responsible for overseeing the global consolidation, financial and external reporting process of the organization, reporting to the VP, Assistant Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the review of actuals submissions and supporting schedules used by the External Reporting department in preparation of the 10-Q and 10-K
- Responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting of transactions, pre-close and accounting close meetings as well as coordination of all quarterly financial reporting audit committee deliverables including the Form 10-Q and earnings press release
- Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial and external reporting and consolidation process, utilizing Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Ensure SOX requirements are met and compliance is maintained at all times
- Direct supervision of two employees
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA Required
- 10-15 Years of accounting/finance experience
- Previous consolidations and financial reporting experience required
Compensation & Benefits:
- $175,000-$200,000 base salary
