About the Company:
Our client is a global hedge fund that operates in the energy and commodities markets.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the accounting and operational team to obtain information required in connection with tax returns and filings
- Assist in the analysis and calculation of required estimated tax estimates and year-end projections for partnership returns
- Assist with preparing various IRS tax forms
- Manage and coordinate tax audits as needed with domestic tax authorities
- Providing tax research and communicate findings
- Assist with ad hoc projects and company-wide initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 3-5 years of tax experience with a background in public accounting
- Partnership tax experience a plus
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
Salary Range:
$85,000-$105,000
