About the Company:
Our client is a top public accounting firm looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager for state and local tax.
Responsibilities:
- Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of client’s businesses
- Work closely with Tax Partners to satisfy the needs with planning compliance
- Understand and manage firm risk on tax services performed
- Research, write and consult on various tax engagements
- Respond to inquiries from state tax authorities
- Responsible for sales tax and other tax return preparation
- Train and supervise staff along with reviewing and evaluating their work
- Manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Masters in taxation or relevant field
- 4-6 years prior experience in public accounting and tax
- CPA or other relevant certification
Salary Range:
$90,000-$110,000
