About the Company:
Our client is a sports union entity that provides support for players and their opportunities, is hiring a finance manager to oversee all royalty and sponsorship accounting, collections, billings, and other related contract analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Track and manage all royalty accounting and contract payments
- Manage the revenue recognition function through contract review, revenue and deferred revenue reconciliation activities, analysis and reporting
- Review and analyze reporting to ensure completeness and accuracy of royalty and sponsorship revenues
- Synthesize at times complex royalty reports into digestible, easy-to-read grids
- Assist in royalty revenue forecasting
- Monitor and analyze account receivables and past due balances to ensure prompt payment
- Prepare quarterly revenue and other external reports, as necessary
- Support business development activities to track trends, grow sales, and make recommendations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
- 4+ years relevant experience with contracts and licensed intellectual property
- Experience managing a royalty software solution
- Ability to manage a large roster of licensees and maintain confidential matters
Salary Range:
$100,000-$140,000
