About the Company:
Our client is an alternative asset management firm investing in the private equity, credit, and real estate space, with distressed funds expertise. They are hiring a Director of Credit Controllers who will support the ongoing management of various direct origination platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and lead the month-end close process, including reviewing a NAV package with all the relevant supporting documentation, calculating performance figures, assisting with corporate and regulation S-X reporting
- Review quarterly financial statements, trustee reports, waterfall, and other related filings
- Work on various models and review expenses analysis and other projections
- Supervise the work of third-party providers of services including sub-administrators, custodians, transfer agents, and valuation firms
- Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities and coordinate with the administrator and the deal team for activities
- Verify portfolio pricing to internal model and third-party sources. Supervision of third-party valuation firms on the quarterly valuation process
- Oversight of regulatory tax compliance filings and calculations
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 8-12 years of relevant experience
- CPA preferred
- Mix of private and public accounting experience
Salary Range:
$140,000-$180,000
