About the Company:
Our client is a diversified net lease REIT specializing in properties in North America and Europe with $20 Billion in AUM. They are hiring a Senior Accountant to join their month-end close team.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and prepare journal entries for various transactions for acquisitions, lease amendments, loan payoffs, and dispositions in accordance with US GAAP
- Accounting involvement with foreign exchange, derivatives, taxes, leases, and purchase price-allocation
- Assist the financial reporting group during quarter and year end close and consolidation process by proofing disclosures in the 10-Qs and 10-Ks to meet SEC filing deadlines
- Perform analyses of various peer financials to help identify appropriate disclosures
- Record recurring monthly and quarterly journal entries for various processes
- Identify and develop processes to help modernize and automate existing accounting functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4-6 years of experience in public accounting
- CPA required
Salary Range:
$100,000-$130,000
