About the Company:
Our client is an alternative asset management firm that focuses on investment opportunities in specialized credit covering US and European markets with $5.5 billion in AUM. They are seeking an Operations Analyst to assist with the controls and process management for its managed funds.
Responsibilities:
- Perform cash and position reconciliations for the firm’s managed funds and work with counterparties, prime brokers, and fund administrators to resolve breaks in a timely manner
- Review, confirm, and initiate settlement for collateral calls with client relationships
- Confirm trade allocations for cash and derivative trades with brokers and counterparties
- Confirm activity and book all repurchase agreements in Europe
- Work alongside team members to assist during the year-end audit process as well as aid in any month end tasks as required
- Generate various periodic reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics
- 2-3 years of experience in a credit hedge fund or in banking
- Understanding of various investment products
- Working knowledge of Advent Geneva preferred
- Experience with derivative clearing systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Salary Range:
$90,000-$100,000
