SEC Reporting Manager

About the Company:
Our client is a leading publicly traded tech company and is hiring an SEC Reporting Manager that will support the company’s growing financial reporting team. This individual will lead the preparation of financial statements, MD&A and disclosures to meet the company’s quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements, as well as, to meet the company’s statutory reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reporting documents and disclosures; prepare necessary disclosure checklists for each SEC filing
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and the identification and accounting for any differences between US GAAP and IFRS or local GAAP
- Develop and document processes and procedures in the accounting and financial reporting function, including leading improvements to processes where warranted
- Responsible for setting and maintaining compliance with SOX requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 6-8 years of accounting experience with a mix of Big 4 and industry SEC reporting experience
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and internal control frameworks and requirements
- Experience with developing and documenting processes and controls to meet SOX requirements
Salary Range:
$140,000-$160,000
