About the Company:
Our client is an alternative asset management firm investing in the private equity, credit, and real estate space, with distressed funds expertise. The Business Analyst will be involved in understanding/monitoring the firm’s financial position while providing forecasting and modeling of current and future activities.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will provide analytical and project support for the firm’s non-investment team activities, including strategic and transaction modeling, business development support, capital market comparisons, portfolio monitoring and analysis, and investor relations support
- Responsible for maintaining the firm’s forecasting model while incorporating strategic options
- Research and develop work products for projects across the platform, analyze new business opportunities, market competitors, and provide general support for the business development function as needed
- Perform capital structure relative value analysis and tracking, track capital markets activity across the firm’s portfolio and support the capital markets function as needed
- Provide support for the firm’s weekly/monthly & quarterly portfolio monitoring process and ongoing analytics to track portfolio construction and performance
- Support the IR function
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4-7 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Experience with FP&A work and credit analysis
- Strong analytical and writing skills
Salary Range:
$190,000-$200,000
