About the Company:
Our client is a global law firm providing a variety of legal services. The Senior Benefits Specialist will assist in developing strategies, ensure plan compliance, and liaise with the Firm’s internal partners and members of senior management who have questions regarding the plans.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor general benefits and partner benefits inbox inquiries and provide timely responses to day-to-day questions
- Primary liaison and contact for benefit broker and vendors on mandatory partner benefit enrollments
- Directly responsible for on-boarding partners – including distributing onboarding benefits materials, scheduling meetings to communicate benefits and assist with elections
- Conduct individual meetings with newly promoted partners, partners transitioning to optional service and retired, to provide a comprehensive overview of benefit offerings and change in coverage
- Prepare detailed schedules and reporting on partner benefits for strategic benefits and estate planning and evaluation upon request
- Partner with Global Benefits Specialist and play an active role in preparing detailed monthly benefit charges reports
- Participate in the open enrollment process, including planning roll-out of communication materials for partners
- Generate, analyze or audit internal and provider-generated reports, including census data for ongoing reporting and compliance purposes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-10 years as a benefits specialist
- Excellent customer service and problem solving capabilities
- Knowledge and experience related to federal, state, and local laws
- Knowledge of state specific government regulations for insurance filing and reporting
