About the Company:
Our client is a leading global investment firm with over $95 billion in AUM. The firm manages investments across various capital strategies including syndicated leveraged loans and high-yield bonds to private equity and asset-based leasing. The Treasury Associate will provide operational support for credit trading activity.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor foreign currency movements across all investment vehicles
- Source currency for deal funding and other capital events in collaboration with deal execution and accounting
- Provide operational support for credit trading activity and Fx hedging
- Resolve trade exceptions between internal systems and external counterparts
- Work with investment professionals to best determine rates and Fx hedging strategies
- Manage trade-related problems such as trade breaks and settlement issues
- Liaise with corporate treasury on issues impacting the fund’s investment portfolio
- Responsible for daily & monthly position reconciliation, trade settlement and valuation of traded assets
- Maintain data integrity of internal trade capture, risk and performance reporting systems
Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or finance required
- 2-3 years of professional experience
- Knowledge of VPM, Microsoft PowerBi, and Bloomberg AIM preferred
- Excel/MS Office Proficiency
