About the Company:
Our client is a global investment management firm with over $57 billion in AUM. They are looking to hire a Software Engineer in Testing to join their Algo Development team who is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining internal suite of algorithmic trading systems. This position can either sit in NYC or Miami, Florida and can pay for relocation.
Responsibilities:
- Work in full life cycle of algorithmic trading system testing developing a fully automated test platform to ensure high quality products and improve teams time to market
- Participate in business and software requirement discussions and provide early feedback with focus on testability, recoverability and supportability
- Write and review automated component and integration test cases
- Develop and maintain testing platform for algo trading systems
- Build and maintain automated pipelines for various testing phases including integration test, performance test, and end-to-end test
- Collaborate with various teams to understand infrastructure and inter application dependencies to automate deployments
- Design and develop testing strategy’s and provide cross function coordination and collaboration; establish and promote industry leading test practices
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of Java server-side development
- Unix/Linux experience
- Proficiency in building out custom Java frameworks
- Ability to perform testing
Pluses:
- Working experience with financial order/execution data, positions data or market data
- Knowledge/understanding of equities, options, VWAP, algo trading platforms, etc
- Experience with Jenkins and AWS
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Ansible
- Programming capabilities with C++
Salary Range:
$200,000-$350,000
