Fund Accountant

About the Company:
Our client is a private equity firm with over $2 billion in AUM focusing on investments in the middle market media, communications, and entertainment sector. The Fund Accountant will have broad exposure to the firm and have daily interaction with the investment team, investor relations professionals and outside service providers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and review books and records
- Prepare and process transactions and financial statement reporting
- Prepare capital allocations, capital call and distribution calculations, including carried interest calculations and management fee calculations
- Analyze and reconcile bank statements, investment activity, income and expense accruals, valuation adjustments and general ledgers
- Drive implementation of technology solutions to streamline management company and fund accounting activities
- Enhance and automate operational processes and coordinate resolution of tech issues
- Handle and prepare investor requests and ad hoc queries for internal and external parties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4-7 years of accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Experience with Investran required
Salary Range:
$120,000-$140,000
