About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative asset manager with over $750 billion in AUM with a focus on renewable power, infrastructure, private equity, and real estate.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely filing of US income tax returns for private funds
- Manage the K-1 and K-3 tax reporting process
- Oversee any federal and state tax audits of US entities
- Oversee tax form validation for new investors
- Manage US tax withholding on cash distributions
- Research technical tax and accounting issues and disclosure matters
- Oversee tax functions and operations of portfolio company operations
- Prepare ad-hoc tax analyses in relation to acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuring
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years of real estate tax experience
- A mix of both public and private experience
- Knowledge of US real estate, corporate tax, and partnership tax rules
- An understanding of cross-border tax issues
Salary Range:
$120,000-$150,000
