Accounting Director

About the Company:
Our client is a private credit investment firm with over $15 billion in AUM. The firm focuses on investments in private equity, special situations, and financing opportunities globally. The Accounting Director will be responsible for overseeing and handling a wide range of accounting and financial tasks for the GP entities of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the quarterly reporting for multiple funds and co-investment vehicles
- Calculate the GP’s capital calls and distributions in coordination with the fund administrator and fund accounting team
- Prepare carry pools and calculations for various individuals
- Oversee and manage complex co-investment structures and loans at the GP level
- Review and approve journal entries and review results in the general ledger
- Perform quarterly financial statements and review postings for the investor portal
- Provide investment accounting for key members
- Coordinate with internal and external advisors on tax planning, compliance, and preparation of tax returns
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 10-15 years of accounting experience with a focus on GP accounting
- CPA and/or CFP preferred
- Proficient in accounting software’s
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial planning
- Proven track record of handling confidential information
Salary Range:
$200,000-$225,000
