About the Company:
Our client is a contemporary entertainment company combining art and technology. The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the accounting activities, month-end close, and the financial reporting for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Own the general accounting processes including streamlining workflow and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- Consolidate and prepare monthly financial statements including trend and variance analysis
- Lead month-end close process with the third-party accounting firm
- Support entities through audit, fundraising, and due diligence as needed
- Increase efficiency and document internal processes and controls
- Provide support for the management and maintenance of wider financial tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3-7 years of operational accounting experience
- Experience with full close-cycle and accrual-based accounting
- Experience with QBO and Shopify
- Experience working in media, entertainment, and or licensing a plus
Salary Range:
$90,000-$135,000
