Fund Accounting Analyst

About the Company:

Our client is an alternative asset management firm investing in the private equity, credit, and real estate space, with distressed funds expertise. The Fund Accounting Analyst will be involved in the execution of the day-to-day accounting for the firm.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Asist with the month-end close process and review of NAV packages
  • Complete internal daily/weekly/monthly fund reporting including the liquidity and investment metrics
  • Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities
  • Maintain detailed summary tracking expenditures across funds
  • Analyze profit/loss and fund performance on monthly basis
  • Calculation of management and incentive fees on hedge and PE style structures
  • Report quarterly and annual accounting information to corporate accounting to generate 10Q/10K; review of 10Q/10K drafts

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-4 years of public/private accounting experience
  • Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise
  • Experience with Investran, Altyrex, Anaplan or Power BI a plus

 

Salary Range: 

$100,000-$115,000
