About the Company:
Our client is a technology driven, multi-asset investment firm operating on a global scale. The Senior Accountant will support the corporate fund accounting, expense management, and internal and external financial reporting preparation and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end close including financial statement preparation, cash reconciliations, record income/expense accruals, record intercompany transactions, and prepare capital allocation schedules
- Assist in preparing monthly consolidated financial statements including consolidation of various overseas entities
- Assist with cash management
- Collaborate with the firm’s tax department to provide relevant information around various tax provisions and filings
- Perform accounting research and provide informed recommendations on specific transactions
- Prepare financial reports for U.S. Census Bureau and Bureau of Labor and Statistics surveys
- Test and utilize automated tools for reconciliation and profit reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2-4 years of experience at a public accounting firm and/or private firm within the financial services industry
- VBA/SQL experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Familiarity with Workday Financials preferred
- CPA required
Salary Range:
$100,000 – $130,000
