About the Company:
Our client is an accounting and finance advisory and transactions firm supporting growth-stage companies and middle-market financial sponsors nationwide. The Director will own a range of client-facing responsibilities and relationships for ongoing transaction services work, deal and team management, and the development of strategies to streamline processes.
Responsibilities:
- Assess revenue, earnings, cash-flow quality and analyze the quality of assets and liabilities being acquired or assumed
- Liaise directly with the client and seller during the acquisition lifecycle
- Evaluate, strategize, and project the quality of working capital, indebtedness, and closing cash at the time of deal close and walk through these key items with the client and seller
- Define and discuss deal definitions for working capital in purchase agreements with lawyers
- Effectively walk through the deliverable with lenders, investors, and underwriters
- Identify opportunities to cross sell services such as tax advisory and ongoing accounting services
- Determine and evaluate new business
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 8-10 years of experience in audit at an accounting firm or within transaction services
- Deep understanding of the three major financial statements as well as key journal entries associated with ongoing monthly operations
- Experience in managing and developing staff
- Strong Excel skills
Salary Range:
$175,000-$210,000
