Payroll Manager

About the Company:
Our client is a premier global real estate and lifestyle company with assets valued at over $60 billion. The Payroll Manager will assist in overseeing and supervising payroll functions.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll ensuring on-time payment to employees and statutory agencies
- Process payroll changes and other special transactions including new hires, terminations, transfers, rate changes, and work location changes
- Handle complex and/or sensitive payroll requests and issues
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Process special payrolls including bonuses and year-end adjustments
- Assist with capturing and responding to escalated issues, policies, and procedures from government agencies, payroll functions, and the operating companies
- Respond to inquires related to payroll and provide guidance on other payroll related matters
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6-10 years of multi-state payroll experience
- Experience working with large multi-company and multi-jurisdiction payroll
- Knowledge of UltiPro required
- Knowledge of U.S. wage and hour laws, garnishments, and payroll tax withholding rules
- Advanced proficiency in Excel functions
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Salary Range:
$110,000-$125,000
