Payroll Manager

About the Company: 

Our client is a premier global real estate and lifestyle company with assets valued at over $60 billion. The Payroll Manager will assist in overseeing and supervising payroll functions.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Process payroll ensuring on-time payment to employees and statutory agencies
  • Process payroll changes and other special transactions including new hires, terminations, transfers, rate changes, and work location changes
  • Handle complex and/or sensitive payroll requests and issues
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Process special payrolls including bonuses and year-end adjustments
  • Assist with capturing and responding to escalated issues, policies, and procedures from government agencies, payroll functions, and the operating companies
  • Respond to inquires related to payroll and provide guidance on other payroll related matters

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 6-10 years of multi-state payroll experience
  • Experience working with large multi-company and multi-jurisdiction payroll
  • Knowledge of UltiPro required
  • Knowledge of U.S. wage and hour laws, garnishments, and payroll tax withholding rules
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel functions
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles

 

Salary Range: 

$110,000-$125,000
