About the Company:
Our client is a boutique public accounting firm with clients in real estate and construction industries.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns for multiple entities, including partnerships, LLCs, and corporations
- Oversee property-level tax matters including sales and use taxes, payroll taxes, and real estate taxes
- Lead tax planning strategies to optimize after-tax returns across development, investment, and construction activities
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess potential impact on the company’s real estate and construction operations
- Maintain compliance with all tax reporting requirements and deadlines
- Support financial reporting by providing accurate tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and forecasts
- Manage and mentor junior accounting staff involved in tax-related work
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6-8 years of related experience
- Real estate experience a plus
- CPA or EA preferred
Salary Range:
$130,000-$170,000
