Structured Credit Vice President

About the Company:
Our client is a specialty risk management and insurance-focused firm that provides credit protection solutions for banks and non-bank lenders. The firm focuses on underwriting and managing credit exposure across loan portfolios and structured credit transactions with an emphasis on customized risk transfer strategies and institutional partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite structured credit transactions including loan portfolios, ABS, and other securitized products
- Perform detailed financial, collateral, and cash flow analysis to assess transaction risk and credit quality
- Review legal documentation, transaction structures, and covenant packages to identify key risks and mitigants
- Develop underwriting recommendations and present findings to internal investment or credit committees
- Monitor existing exposures and provide ongoing surveillance of insured or underwritten transactions
- Partner with internal stakeholders including portfolio management, legal, compliance, and business development teams
- Assist in structuring customized risk transfer and insurance solutions for institutional clients
- Maintain awareness of market trends, regulatory developments, and industry-specific credit dynamics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required
- 5-7 years of related experience at a bank, asset manager, or credit platform
- Experience with CLOs, ABS, ABLs, securitizations, or structured finance
- Experience analyzing collateral performance, transaction waterfalls, and cash flow models
- Exposure to insurance-linked credit products or risk transfer solutions
Salary Range:
$200,000-$300,000
