About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative investment firm with $60 billion in AUM with strategies across industry sectors and asset classes. The Accounting Analyst will be responsible for compensation related accounting for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare month and year-end payout calculations
- Collaborate with other departments on the reporting and analysis of compensation agreements
- Prepare month-end closing
- Help implement reporting and analysis to senior management
- Review Portfolio Manager contracts and manage all aspects from structuring of agreements, to onboarding and PM compensation calculations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance required
- 2-4 years in public and/or private accounting
- Hedge fund experience required
- Strong Excel skills including v-lookup and pivot tables
- Experience with Oracle a plus
Salary Range:
$70,000-$100,000
