About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative asset manager specializing in multi-strategy investing, focusing on areas such as credit, real estate, and institutional equities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accounting for the general ledger close process including journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and analytics
- Prepare financial statements, draft disclosures, and respond to audit requests across domestic and foreign statutory audits
- Prepare quarterly footnote disclosures for parent company public filings
- Assist in the preparation and filing of periodic and ad hoc reporting to domestic and foreign regulators
- Prepare financial data as needed for other business departments
- Assist with ad hoc accounting projects as they arise
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 1-3 years of accounting experience within public accounting or at an alternative asset firm
- CPA or parts passed a plus
- Strong Excel skills
Salary Range:
$80,000-$100,000
