Accounting Analyst

About the Company:
Our client, a global investment management firm with over $30 billion in assets under management, is looking for an Accounting Analyst. The analyst is responsible for assisting the team with timely and accurate financial reporting to external parties. The position is also responsible for the development and maintenance of accounting and reporting policies and procedures for both GAAP and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the consolidation process and master fund reconciliation
- Prepare month-end closing for the management companies
- Assist in the preparation of the financial statements and footnotes for the master fund and the management companies
- Assist with coordinating the annual audits
- Assist with various regulatory monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual filings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-7 years in a financial reporting or technical accounting role
- Ability to be flexible and able to work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Working knowledge or familiarity with the accounting for different types of financial instruments, including derivatives, is a plus
- Working knowledge or familiarity with Oracle is a plus
- CPA is a plus
Salary Range:
$120,000 – $150,000
