About the Company:
Our client is a private equity and venture capital investment firm that invests in middle-market companies in the consumer, healthcare, software, and manufacturing sectors. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for the accounting, reporting, and operational activates of the firm’s four management companies.
Requirements:
- Assist with monthly close process, annual expense budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage the accounts payable process
- Assist in the implementation of the firm’s vendor management and accounts payable system, including its integration into general ledger system
- Quarterly billings to portfolio companies and the firm’s funds
- Spearhead the annual 1099 process, quarterly tax payments and reconciliations, and the quarterly commercial rent tax
- Participate in technology and process initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA a plus
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in both public and private sectors
- Prior experience with management company fund administrator
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of general ledger systems
- Experience with MS Dynamics and Concur a plus
Salary Range:
$90,000-$115,000
