Accounting Senior Manager

About the Company: 

Our client is a private investment firm providing capital for long-term growth and acquisitions for businesses in the healthcare, industrial, and commercial industries. The Accounting Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities for the firm and other entities within.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing and consolidation process ensuring all financial activities are accurately recorded, consolidated, and reported
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Review and reconcile accounts including accruals, prepayments, and transactions across all entities as well as ensuring intercompany transactions are properly recorded
  • Assist with daily cash management requirements, foreign exchange management, and intercompany debt compliance requirements
  • Partner with tax department to ensure proper financial statement integrity related to tax compliance with federal and state tax filings as well as international tax compliance
  • Assist with book/tax provision models where necessary
  • Continuously assess and improve the financial reporting and closing processes to enhance controls
  • Provide actionable insights to management regarding variances in budgets, forecasts, and actual results
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits
  • Manage and provide guidance on non-routine financial transactions including divestitures, carve outs, mergers and acquisitions, and other special projects

 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
  • 8-12 years of related corporate accounting experience
  • Experience with managing a team required
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and compliance standards
  • ERP and financial systems experience required
  • Experience with D365, Medius, Concur, Blackline, Adaptive a plus
  • CPA a plus

 

Salary Range:

$180,000-$200,000
