About the Company:
Our client, one of the fastest-growing asset managers focused on credit and private equity, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Director. This role will be dynamic in nature as it is the head Accounts Payable professional hired in the New York office. It will face off with all major personnel in the organization and the incumbent will have the chance to build out a team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle accounts payable process working closely with various other team functions
- Develop accurate and timely reporting for both internal and external customers
- Oversee and manage all outgoing payments
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with accounts
- Act as a liaison between the company and vendor contacts
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the company
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 10+ years of experience in accounts payable
- Proven track record of handling customer relationships
- Experience working for a publicly traded company preferred
- Strong communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
Salary Range:
$150,000 – $175,000
