Administrative/HR Assistant – Accounting Firm

About the Company:

Our Client is a boutique public accounting firm located in Melville, New York

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to a group of Partners and Head of Operations
  • Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, and processing mail
  • Handle communications with clients and vendors via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Assist with some HR functions such as payroll and bookkeeping
  • Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
  • Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 2-4+ years of administrative experience in accounting
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with ever changing priorities and deadlines

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $55,000 – $65,000 Base Salary
