About the Company: 

Our client is a global asset management firm with over $26 billion in AUM that invests in multiple asset classes such as long/short equity, global macro investments, and private investments. The Application Support hire will join the Risk Technology team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide data and related application support for various teams at the firm
  • Provide application support across multiple Front Office applications (user support, incident management, change management, service management, etc.)
  • Learn, support, and improve a variety of risk management systems, valuation engines, aggregation frameworks, and data pipelines
  • Develop a quantitative understanding of reference data, market data, model data, risk exposures, and portfolio analytics
  • Manage user on-boarding and off-boarding, data flow changes, and user inquiries
  • Configure account and instrument setup to run processes and populate analytics
  • Monitor data accuracy and completeness
  • Troubleshoot and fix issues in complex and sophisticated data system
  • Innovate and improve processes and tool sets to automate repetitive work and increase efficiency
  • Proactively communicate potential problems, engage relevant parties, and follow through with root cause analysis

 

Requirements:

  • 7-8 years of application support experience
  • Prior development or production support experience in a quantitative environment
  • Proficient coding or scripting skills (python, C#, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Proficient SQL query skills
  • Windows Environment Background

 

Salary Range:

$100,000 – $300,000
