Assistant Controller

About the Company:
Our client is a private investment firm providing capital for long-term growth and acquisitions for businesses in the healthcare, industrial, and commercial industries. The Assistant Controller will provide accounting oversight for the accounting book of records, cash flow movements, and FX entries for the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Perform reconciliation calculations and reporting related to daily, weekly, and monthly NAV
- Review management fee and performance fee calculations
- Monitor expense budgets and accruals
- Support the annual audit process and prepare internal financial statements for audited and unaudited vehicles
- Assist fund market operations and treasury teams in gathering data, reconciling accounts, and validating information
- Support efficiency initiatives related to the firms accounting system and general workflow optimization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 7-12 years of experience in hedge fund accounting
- CPA preferred
- Experience with quant strategies and derivative products a plus
Salary Range:
$175,000-$300,000
