About the Company:
Our client is a global alternative asset management firm with $35 billion in AUM with investment strategies including fundamental equities, corporate and structured credit, real estate debt and equity, merger arbitrage, and private investments.
Requirements:
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
- Prepare and review the monthly close process
- Assist in maintaining the corporate accounts and consolidated financial statements in Yardi
- Provide oversight to third-party portfolio administrator
- Assist in the maintenance, compilation, and/or review of selected portfolio data
- Prepare the execution, settlement, accounting treatment and reporting for the firm’s real estate
investments - Review the profit & loss analytics on real estate investments and prepare the monthly/quarterly investment performance track records
- Assist in drafting accounting memorandums relating to significant transactions of the REIT
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 6-9 years of experience in financial accounting and/or audit with REIT or general real estate industry experience
- Knowledge of complex fund and SPV structures
- Knowledge of fund investor capital and profit & loss allocations process including calculation of waterfalls
- Knowledge in Wdesk and Yardi
Salary Range:
$150,000-$180,000
