Assistant Vice President

About the Company:
Our client is a private equity firm with over $50 billion in AUM managing capital for corporate and public pensions, fund of funds, high-net-worth individuals, university endowments, and insurance companies on a global scale. The Assistant Vice President will be responsible for day-to-day accounting and operations of the firm’s funds.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the accounting ledger for private equity funds
- Prepare quarterly limited partners’ and general partner allocations
- Prepare quarterly financial reporting packages
- Prepare capital call and distribution notices
- Prepare financial statements and supporting analyses for annual audits
- Assist with facilitating deal closings and preparing waterfalls
- Liaise with the firm’s tax team to provide reports for tax analysis and reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5-6 years of experience as a fund accountant
- Experience in private equity preferred
- Experience working with general ledger and applicable software
- Experience with FIS Private Capital Suite preferred
Salary Range:
$120,000-$150,000
