Assistant Vice President

About the Company: 

Our client is a private equity firm with over $50 billion in AUM managing capital for corporate and public pensions, fund of funds, high-net-worth individuals, university endowments, and insurance companies on a global scale. The Assistant Vice President will be responsible for day-to-day accounting and operations of the firm’s funds.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain the accounting ledger for private equity funds
  • Prepare quarterly limited partners’ and general partner allocations
  • Prepare quarterly financial reporting packages
  • Prepare capital call and distribution notices
  • Prepare financial statements and supporting analyses for annual audits
  • Assist with facilitating deal closings and preparing waterfalls
  • Liaise with the firm’s tax team to provide reports for tax analysis and reporting

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-6 years of experience as a fund accountant
  • Experience in private equity preferred
  • Experience working with general ledger and applicable software
  • Experience with FIS Private Capital Suite preferred

 

Salary Range: 

$120,000-$150,000
