About the Company:
Our client is an alternative asset management firm investing in the private equity, credit, and real estate space, with distressed funds expertise. The Associate Director will assist with the core accounting and reporting for the firm and help improve processes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the month-end close process, complete NAV package, calculate management and performance figures, and assist with the corporate and regulatory reporting
- Review quarterly SEC filings and financial statements
- Work on various model and review expense analysis and other projections
- Be the main point of contact for various vendors and third-party providers of services including sub-administrators, custodians, transfer agents and valuation firms
- Identify and analyze daily cash activity for various fund entities and coordinate with administrator and the deal team for activities
- Verify portfolio pricing to internal model and third-party sources
- Supervise the third-party valuation firms on quarterly valuation processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4-8 years of related accounting experience
- Previous experience with valuation of illiquid and liquid assets
- CPA preferred
- Experience with Altyrex, Anaplan, or Power BI a plus
Salary Range:
$120,000-$175,000
