About the Company:
Our client is a high-growth leading asset manager with over $35 billion in AUM, focused on private equity and private credit is seeking a BDC Fund Accountant to join the firm to assist with their direct lending business. The BDC Fund Accountant will be expected to play an active role in day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the review of the accounting close packages for the company’s BDCs, including liaising with front office professionals and conducting detailed valuation reviews and tie-outs of senior loans and any opportunistic credit investments
- Investor reporting/presentations for the BDCs
- Review and analyze all aspects of the closing packages, review the tie-out of the quarterly financial statements, financial highlights and MD&A, and work with the junior analyst to communicate changes
- Review taxes for the BDCs
- Handle the quarterly review and annual audits and handles SOX, including documentation for BDCs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4-6 years in public accounting or
- Asset management audit experience a plus
- CPA preferred
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
Salary Range:
$100,000 – $125,000
