About the Company:

Our client is a high-growth leading asset manager with over $35 billion in AUM, focused on private equity and private credit is seeking a BDC Fund Accountant to join the firm to assist with their direct lending business. The BDC Fund Accountant will be expected to play an active role in day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the review of the accounting close packages for the company’s BDCs, including liaising with front office professionals and conducting detailed valuation reviews and tie-outs of senior loans and any opportunistic credit investments
  • Investor reporting/presentations for the BDCs
  • Review and analyze all aspects of the closing packages, review the tie-out of the quarterly financial statements, financial highlights and MD&A, and work with the junior analyst to communicate changes
  • Review taxes for the BDCs
  • Handle the quarterly review and annual audits and handles SOX, including documentation for BDCs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4-6 years in public accounting or
  • Asset management audit experience a plus
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

 

Salary Range: 

$100,000 – $125,000
