About the Company: 

Our client is a real estate investment firm focusing on high-quality properties and development opportunities, leveraging deep industry expertise to create long-term value. The Bookkeeper will have a dual-role role maintaining accurate financial records of the real estate portfolio and ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of the office.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the daily financial transactions of underlying properties including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking
  • Record and reconcile all financial transactions in the property management and accounting software
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure timely processing of vendor invoice payments and property related cash receipts
  • Coordinate with external accountants for audits
  • Maintain and update property files, tenant lease agreements, and tenant information within the database
  • Manage tenant billing for rent, CAM charges, utilities, and other recoverable expenses

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-7 years of related bookkeeping/administrative experience
  • Real estate experience preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software’s
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail

 

Salary Range: 

$80,000-$90,000
