About the Company:
Our client is a real estate investment firm focusing on high-quality properties and development opportunities, leveraging deep industry expertise to create long-term value. The Bookkeeper will have a dual-role role maintaining accurate financial records of the real estate portfolio and ensuring the smooth administrative functioning of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily financial transactions of underlying properties including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Record and reconcile all financial transactions in the property management and accounting software
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and ensure timely processing of vendor invoice payments and property related cash receipts
- Coordinate with external accountants for audits
- Maintain and update property files, tenant lease agreements, and tenant information within the database
- Manage tenant billing for rent, CAM charges, utilities, and other recoverable expenses
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3-7 years of related bookkeeping/administrative experience
- Real estate experience preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software’s
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Salary Range:
$80,000-$90,000
