Business Development Manager

About the Company:
Our client is a national law firm that offers consulting services to firms in the technology and life sciences sectors, advising clients at all stages from startups to public companies. The Business Development Manager will work with the firm’s start-up and venture capital partners by bringing insights, leading practices, and creative thinking to support them in their business development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule business development, networking, and other related activities and meetings
- Attend and secure speaking engagements at events to evaluate and develop leads on quality companies
- Assist partners with the screening of unfunded start-up opportunities
- Help identify potential opportunities to introduce other practices to the firms scaling corporate clients
- Manage and help maintain a database of current clients, prospective clients, referrals, marketing, and sales activities
- Assist in responding to proposal opportunities
- Prepare research and marketing/sales materials for meetings with prospective clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 6-8 years of experience in marketing, business development or investor relations
- Versed in Salesforce or other CRM based tools
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills that meet the demands of high-performing law firm partners
- Account management and/or customer relationship management experience preferred
Salary Range:
$160,000-$200,000
