Business Development Manager

About the Company:

Our client is a rapidly growing consulting firm that works with organizations of all sizes and industries ranging from start-ups to Fortune100. They are in expansion mode and hiring for Business Development / Sales Managers to help continue the success.  This role will focus on managing existing client relationships along with bringing on new business for the firm. This hire will go through a detailed training program and have the full support of the firm to be set up for success. The existing team is a large group of impressive ex-Big 4 CPAs who went through this training program. The right candidate is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and a team player. This is an exciting opportunity to get out of accounting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients
  • Develop proposals to pitch to potential clients
  • Develop and maintain existing client relationships
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
  • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
  • Present presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
  • Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
  • Track and report on the status of proposal components
  • Conduct ongoing market research

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-8 years of experience within the Big4
  • No prior sales experience required but an interest in sales is a must
  • Comfortable giving high-level presentations
  • Excellent writing and communication skills

 

Salary Range:

$135,000-$175,000 + Incentives
