About the Company:
Our client is a long-standing construction company that has worked on private, commercial, and public projects. The CFO will be responsible for the planning, implementation, managing, and running of all the finance activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting teams for the firm’s companies
- Create all financial statements and detailed financial analyses for all of the firm’s companies and partner entities
- Provide guidance and strategy to M&A team, examining deal flow, acquisition type, financing, and ROI
- Ability to read, interpret, provide analysis, and opinion of financial statements of acquisitions targets
- Responsible for preparation of company forecast, monitoring actual results to forecast and provide explanations for variances with focus on improving profitability
- Liaise with independent auditors, company bankers, insurance agents, bonding agents, and Legal Counsel
- Monitor consolidated cash flow requirements to determine weekly disbursement activities and line of credit borrowing/pay down transactions
- Develop KPI’s for asset management and procure financing for significant construction equipment purchases with several different financing companies
- Participate as a key member of the Executive staff, participating in meetings and conversations to continually improve the overall position of the company
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA preferred
- 12-15 years of experience as an Executive level leader
- Construction/contractor industry experience is a must
Salary Range:
$275,000-$350,000
