About the Company:
Our client is a prominent real estate law firm headquartered in NYC. The CFO will direct and manage all aspects of the finance and accounting operation to affirmatively meet the firm’s needs and expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitability, efficiencies, and effectiveness within the company
- Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company
- Oversee law firm’s finances including revenue, expense, balance sheet, and working capital management
- Lead and be responsible for accounting procedures, including billings, payroll processing, and financial reporting
- Establish, implement, and monitor financial controls and guidelines to reduce costs and maximize profitability
- Provide regular and timely analysis regarding profitability and revenues for the goal of accomplishing effective business planning and evaluation
- Oversee the finance function to optimize billing and collections while negotiating and keeping close control over costs; ensure the accurate processing of payroll and benefits
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA a plus
- 6-12 years of experience at another law firm
- Extensive experience leading support staff and delegating work as necessary
Salary Range:
$150,000-$220,000
