About the Company:

Our client is a prominent real estate law firm headquartered in NYC. The CFO will direct and manage all aspects of the finance and accounting operation to affirmatively meet the firm’s needs and expectations.



  • Implement and manage plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitability, efficiencies, and effectiveness within the company
  • Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company
  • Oversee law firm’s finances including revenue, expense, balance sheet, and working capital management
  • Lead and be responsible for accounting procedures, including billings, payroll processing, and financial reporting
  • Establish, implement, and monitor financial controls and guidelines to reduce costs and maximize profitability
  • Provide regular and timely analysis regarding profitability and revenues for the goal of accomplishing effective business planning and evaluation
  • Oversee the finance function to optimize billing and collections while negotiating and keeping close control over costs; ensure the accurate processing of payroll and benefits



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA a plus
  • 6-12 years of experience at another law firm
  • Extensive experience leading support staff and delegating work as necessary
