Compensation Accountant

About the Company: 

Our client is a global hedge fund using fundamental research, predictive analytics, and leading-edge technology to identify and capture new opportunities for its investors.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Perform monthly accrual calculations for incentive compensation, including verification of inputs and performing control checks, reconciliations and analytical reviews
  • Manage and present reporting to front office business leads and portfolio managers on a quarterly basis
  • Assist in the design and rollout of enhancements to automation and reporting
  • Manage complex front office performance-based bonus models for accrual calculations
  • Coordinate year-end audit testing of compensation accruals
  • Maintain a controlled operating environment in conjunction with company’s internal controls

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5-8 years of finance and accounting experience
  • Experience with Anaplan a must
  • Compensation accounting experience a plus
  • Experience in improving processes and analytical skills

 

Salary Range: 

$135,000-$200,000
